This table emerges from a reflection on perpendicularity as a principle of order and encounter. The strict, straight lines define a space where everything seems to be in its place. Yet, it is within this apparent rigidity that dialogue begins: two lines crossing at 90 degrees do not compete—they complement each other.

Much like human relationships, where well-placed differences can support strong structures, this table proposes an essential geometry that doesn’t impose, but invites. Every right angle is a decision; every joint, a gesture.

Crafted in wood, the material brings warmth to balance the precision of its form. Perpendicularity here is not cold mathematics, but a shared language—a way of being together, each from their own place.

In philosophy, the act is the full realization of a potentiality, the manifestation of being in its purest form. The Acto III table embodies this idea.

Conceived as a side table, Acto III transcends its function to become an expression of balance between the utilitarian and the poetic. Its simple, almost archetypal geometry hides a reflection on the relationship between the object and the space it inhabits.

Every line, every volume, responds to the desire to eliminate the superfluous, leaving only the essential. The object thus becomes the full realization of its possibility: to be a support, but also a pause, a gesture that dialogues with its surroundings.

Acto III does not impose itself, but rather offers itself. It is a silent presence that, like the philosophical act, reveals the potency contained in simple things. A piece that invites us to contemplate the everyday with new eyes.

The Ushigome-Yanagichio stool is a unique piece crafted from wood, inspired by my time living in Tokyo. Its design reflects the essence of the city, capturing the interplay of voids and solids that characterize this marvelous metropolis. Every curve and detail of the stool seeks to convey the complexity and harmony I experienced during my stay in Tokyo, creating a piece that not only serves as a functional seat but also as an artistic expression of the lived experiences in this captivating city.

The design of this oak wood and leather lounge chair explores the relationship between the body and gravity, searching for that moment when one lets go, and instead of an action of impact, it becomes an invitation to deep rest.

The choice of oak as the main material provides a solid and stable base, which, through its density and texture, reflects the idea of retreat, of feeling protected and grounded. At the same time, the use of leather on the seat and backrest evokes softness and comfort, creating a subtle contrast with the robustness of the structure.

This material contrast creates an almost weightless experience: when the body rests upon it, the leather holds and embraces it, giving the sensation of floating over a warm and solid surface. Each line and detail of its design invites the user to let go and surrender to stillness, experiencing that harmony between the heavy and the light, between the firm and the welcoming. The lounge chair, therefore, is not just a functional object; it is an expression of serenity and protection, a place where the weight of the body dissolves in a gesture of absolute rest.

This side table is an exercise in balance between gravity and stability, where oak wood and stainless steel meet in a harmonious contrast. With a low base and a thin, elongated steel surface, the design pushes the material to the limit of its stability, creating a controlled sense of tension and sophistication. The slender stainless steel surface seems to float above the sturdy oak base, in a balance that defies gravity and highlights the formal precision of the piece.

The table conveys warmth through its smooth lines and refined proportions. Each element is designed to coexist in harmony, without dominating the space but rather engaging in a dialogue with it. The oak wood, warm and stable, brings a sense of familiarity and naturalness, while the stainless steel adds a touch of elegance and modernity, generating a contrast that is visually light and sophisticated.

This piece is more than just a side table; it is an expression of diligence in the creative process, where every detail has been executed with precision.

The stool alludes to the process of wood packaging for transport, evoking not only its practical function but also a symbolic dimension: the act of creating, protecting, and identifying something before letting it go. Its design reflects the precision and care involved in packing, a gesture that also implies a kind of release. Once completed, the piece is sent out into the world, beyond the author’s control. The Latin phrase Permitte ut sit (“let it be”) expresses this notion of the work’s autonomy, which from that moment on will be interpreted and used in unpredictable ways. The stool is part of the Permitte ut sit collection, and thus becomes a symbol of the creative uncertainty in which the maker places trust in the quality of the work, knowing its fate will unfold in new contexts and through other perspectives.

Shelf 01, from the “Permite ut sit” collection, emerges from a desire to bring order—to give space to the objects that accompany our daily lives. Its essential form and bare construction evoke the most elemental architecture: vertical elements supporting a horizontal elements, like a small structure capable of containing the world.

Crafted entirely from wood, with no hardware or embellishment, the shelf seeks to merge with its surroundings rather than impose itself. Its presence is quiet yet assured. The relationship between its parts—the proportions, joints, and rhythm of the supports—reveals a calm reflection on balance and scale.

As with many of my pieces, Shelf 01 is not meant to stand out, but to accompany. It invites us to contemplate the everyday—to observe the books, objects, or memories we place upon it. A modest piece of domestic architecture, built with the will to endure and the intent to enhance the space it inhabits.

Shelf 02, from the “Permite ut sit” collection, stems from the same desire to bring order and offer a place for the objects that shape our daily lives. Like its predecessor, its essential form and bare construction evoke the most elemental architecture: vertical elements supporting a horizontal elements—now repeated in height—forming a slender structure capable of containing more.

Made entirely from wood, without hardware or ornament, the shelf seeks quiet integration into the space. Its presence remains discreet yet confident. The relationship between its parts—the proportions, the rhythm of the verticals, the clarity of its joins—speaks of a thoughtful search for harmony and scale.

As with all my pieces, Shelf 02 does not aspire to prominence, but to accompaniment. It invites a gentle contemplation of what we choose to place on it—books, objects, memories. A vertical gesture of domestic architecture, built to last, designed to elevate and enrich the space it inhabits.

My practice as an architect and designer revolves around a constant idea: to intervene in space with an honest, calm, and essential gaze. Each project becomes an exercise in refinement, a continuous search for what is true.

I work with radical attention to materials, processes, and the hands that shape them. The beauty I pursue is neither immediate nor obvious: it emerges from what is discreet, from what resists time, from what stands without ostentation.

I create with the hope of inviting silence, contemplation, and introspection. My works do not seek to impose, but to coexist. They do not aim to dazzle, but to endure.

Through constructive sincerity and respect for craftsmanship, I try to leave a trace that speaks of time, but also of permanence. A silent legacy that inscribes itself into space with naturalness and depth. A way of being in the world that is simpler, more conscious, and perhaps more beautiful.
